The prime time telecast can be viewed on Velvet on August 24, 2009, at 8 pm. Studio 23 will feature the repeat telecast on August 24, 2009, at 8 pm. The repeat telecast can also be viewed on ABS-CBN on August 27, 2009, at 10pm and on Velvet on August 26, 2009, at 8:30pm and August 29, 2009, at 10pm.
The 2008 Miss Universe contest winner was Miss Venezuela, Dayana Mendoza. This year, the 2009 Miss Indonesia Universe, Zivanna Letisha Siregar is considered to be a favorite to be the 2009 Miss Universe contest winner. The Miss Universe organisation has listed the top 15 contestants, among 85 contestants, in the 2009 Miss Universe contest, based on viewer ratings.

Larissa Costa Silva de Oliveira is the winner of the Miss Brazil 2008 title and has been in the news ever since she won the Miss Rio Grande do Norte in 2009. Born on March 9, 1984, Larissa is a graduate in Pedology and works in the Secretariat of Education of Natal. The green-eyed beauty has been riding high on success and is confident of winning the 2009 Miss Universe contest

Miss universe now is not a matter of gathering of all beauty ladies from all over the world. Brain and Beauty should be a lead factor to determine who is the best to get world level.
However it is not easy to achieve the goal these days at University level of world lady after all. The judges will analyze which is the best of all contestant all over the world.
