Keraton Kadariah Pontianak was built in 1771 by Sultan Syarief Abdulrahman Alqadrie. Located in Kampung Dalam Bugis, Pontianak, Keraton Kadariah is easily reached by any means of transportations, such as taxis, oplet-local mass transport by minivan with spesific colour to differ its track, becak- three-wheels driven manually by a human in rear-passengers front, or if you prefer a brief walk-about 5kilometres from city centre-a good way to sightsee the view of Kapuas river from the bridge.
Lots of artifacts and historic objects such as jewelries, diadems, war canons, ceramics and old royal family photos are worth to be seen. There is a wooden bulpit stands in the center, and an ancient mirror from France placed in the main hall named "Kaca Seribu" (A thousand mirrors) by local peoples. The Sultan also left lots of other treasures for his heirs.
