Lake Sebedang in Sambas

Sebedang lake located in the Sambas with the distance about 1 hour drive from Singkawang. This photo was taken tgl 22 January 2008 about 5:30 am using a tripod.



Lake Sebedang

LOCATION tour is located in the Village Sempalai Sebedang, District Sebawi. Area area of 100 hectares more or less distance from the center of town about 19 km Sambas. Road conditions Tourism Go form the road network in the area tour of Lake Sebedang, especially roads that surround the lake edge is still the most paths or can only be passed with a walk and some are still a thicket of difficult to be passed.

Lake Sebedang have historical value for the Sultanate of Sambas Sambas and society in general because it is a historic site where bathing and health and the Sultan of Sambas time of his family first. Perhaps according to folklore, the lake is surrounded by hills that are silent witnesses the funeral of Nadi brothers Bujang Dare Nandung and perhaps according to the local folklore punished with his lovely bury them alive.

Overlay of the lake is surrounded by green hills nan, part of the protected forest which is the habitan various flora and fauna typical Kalimantan, including the purchase of timber forest 30 hectares. Who visit here can do jungle tracking the peak of Bukit Amor on the south side of the lake and enjoy the lake's elevation.

Around in 2001, I used to visit Sambas for 4-day visit to one of my best friend at Campus. His name is Wahid and his family.
I enjoy visited Sambas city, and I had an opportunity to view wonderful scenery, historical remains of Sultanate Sambas palace, Awaisyakubilah. I also enjoy traditional food during LEbaran festive beside the girls there were really beautiful. I love Sambas

I never visit to Lake Sebedang like you wrote, and I think it is a good idea to see the lake as it will give a good view and fresh inspiration to do better in my life.
To be honestly, I love traveling, and Sambas could be one of my destination to be visited. I will contact my travel agent to arrange this traveling to Sambas with friends real soon.

Sambas. Hmm. Does it really like the Toba Lake in Sumatera, I mean in North Sumatera. Well I can see the picture enclosed here in this article could be aware of its beautiful and panoramic view of the lake of Sebedang in Sambas.
